OUR STORY

Lauren and Dusty met each other in the restaurant industry (well) over a decade ago. Both having passion for the food culture, they also found passion for each other and got married in 2013. Both finding food industry jobs outside the restaurant realm, they couldn't help but hold on to that passion of creating and serving food that they both love and turned it into Gold Leaf Catering. Dusty's family comes from a line of tobacco farmers from the area in which they live now. The term "Gold Leaf" is an homage to those tobacco farmers who paved the way of the land with sacrifice and hard work to accomplish all that was needed to provide.

REACTIONS AND REVIEWS

9.7.21---Gold Leaf Catering was incredible to work with! We hired them for our wedding reception, which was a small backyard affair, and they were so friendly and went above and beyond. From the moment we contacted them, they were easy to reach, easy to talk too, and were excited about our menu of flatbread pizzas. Fairly close to the wedding we asked for a second person to help us with keeping the drink pitchers full and grabbing dirty dishes and Gold Leaf was able to accommodate us. One of the biggest things we were so impressed with though was they arrived while everyone was gone to the ceremony and when we got back they had filled all our drink pitchers, added ice and drinks to the galvanized buckets we were serving them in, and had amazing food ready to go! We could not recommend Gold Leaf more, the food was delicious, especially the jalapeño hushpuppies with pimento cheese, they were easy to work with, and so friendly. You can't go wrong with Gold Leaf.
